Your data
Privacy notice
What personal data this website processes, why, for how long, and how to exercise your rights.
This notice explains how personal data is processed on eudropsandbites.eu. It describes the processing that actually takes place on this website.
Who is responsible
The controller for personal data collected through this website is Enosi Kiatou IKE (KIATO IKE), Kleisthenous 4, 202 00 Kiato, Greece — the beneficiary of project 101250230 under the European Union’s agricultural promotion programme, and the owner of this website.
For any question about your data, write to webadmin@eudropsandbites.eu.
What we collect, and why
If you write to us through the contact form
We collect the name, email address, company or organisation (optional), enquiry type and message you enter, together with the page you sent it from, the language you were reading in, and the time. The message is sent by email to the campaign team and is not stored in a database on this website.
- Why: to read and answer your enquiry.
- Legal basis: your consent, which you give with the checkbox on the form.
- How long: for as long as the correspondence is live, and then in the campaign’s mailbox for up to 24 months, after which it is deleted.
Please do not include sensitive personal data in your message; it is not needed to answer your enquiry.
Spam protection on that form
To stop automated submissions we count how many messages have recently come from your internet connection. Your IP address is not stored to do this: it is converted into an irreversible code using a secret key held on the server, and only that code and a counter are kept, for one hour. There is no CAPTCHA on this website, so nothing about you is sent to a third party in order to prove you are a person.
Your cookie choice
When you answer the cookie banner we store your answer in a cookie on your own device so that we do not ask again. It contains your choice and the date you made it, and nothing that identifies you. See the cookie notice.
Statistics, only if you agree
Only if you choose “Accept analytics” does this website load Google Analytics 4 which sets cookies to count visits and record which pages are read. Until you make that choice, no request is sent to Google and no analytics cookie is set.
- Why: to understand which parts of the campaign website are useful and improve them.
- Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- What is measured: pages viewed, approximate location derived from a shortened IP address, device and browser type, and how you arrived. When a contact message is successfully sent we record that one was sent — never who sent it or what it said.
- What we have switched off: Google Signals, advertising personalisation and advertising cookies. This website carries no advertising tags of any kind.
- Processor: Google Ireland Limited, which processes the data on our behalf and may transfer it outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards in its own terms.
Server logs
The server that runs this website keeps standard technical log files of the requests it receives, including IP address, time, the page requested and the browser’s identification string. These exist to keep the site running and secure, are not used to build any profile, and are kept for a short period before being overwritten.
What this website does not do
- No advertising or re-targeting tags, and no advertising cookies.
- No social media tracking pixels, share widgets or embedded feeds.
- No fonts, scripts or images loaded from a third-party network — everything is served from this domain, so nothing reaches another company simply because you opened a page.
- No newsletter, no account, no user profiling, no automated decision-making.
- No selling or sharing of personal data for anyone else’s purposes.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it or erase it, ask us to restrict or object to how we use it, ask for it in a portable form, and withdraw a consent you have given. Withdrawing consent does not affect what was lawful before you withdrew it.
Write to webadmin@eudropsandbites.eu. We will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied you may complain to a data protection supervisory authority — in Greece the Hellenic Data Protection Authority, or the authority in the country where you live.
Changes
If this website changes in a way that affects your data, this notice is updated before the change goes live.
